I think it is particularly fitting that today

the minister to deliver the invocation is the pastor of

the man who certainly more than any other delegate in

this room is responsible for the existence of this

Constitutional Convention. It, therefore, gives me a
|
|

|
great deal of personal pleasure to announce that the
|
|
12
|
invocation this morning will be offered by the Revarend
|
|
13
|
Donald Hurst, Immanuel Methodist Church, Crisfield,
|
|

|
Somerset County, Governor Tawes' pastor.
|
|

REVEREND HURST: Let us pray.

Our God, our Heavenly Father, as the final

hours of this State Constitutional Convention rush upon

us hear our prayer.

Now that much of the time consuming labor and

strenuous effort has been expended in the making of a

new Constitution, all that remains is the fullness of time
