'"(b) The initial salary to be paid by the

paid on January 1, 1968, to the chief judge of the Court of

Appeals established under the prior constitution.

'"(c) The initial salary to be paid by the

State to a judge of the Intermediate Appellate Court shall

not be less than the total salary including any local

supplementation paid on January 1, 1968, to the chief judge

16

of the Court of Special Appeals.

"'(d) The initial salary to be paid by the

State to a judge of the Superior Court shall not be less
