Cambridge in recent years, there is every reason in the
world to vote against Delegate Bamberger's proposal.
If you can wait until a town is burned down or a horse is
stolen before you take precautionary measures, then you
vote for his proposal, but in this day and time, when
savagery and violence is among us at all times, we better
stand prepared, we better give the Governor, whoever he
may be, the right to go in and maintain order without
making a play on words.
