THE CHAIRMAN: Any further discussion? Ready

for the question? The Clerk will ring the quorum bell.

The question arises on the adoption of Amendment No. 1.

A vote Aye is a vote in favor of the amendment. A

vote No is a vote against. Cast your votes. Has every

delegate voted? Does any delegate desire to change his

9

vote? The Clerk will record the vote.

There being 26 votes in the affirmative and

11

83 in the negative, the motion is lost, the amendment

12

fails.

Delegate Needle, I take it in view of that

vote you do not desire to offer your Amendment C.

DELEGATE NEEDLE: Mr. Chairman, I think it would

be appropriate to offer Amendment C.
