You have mortgage foreclosure cases, you have partition
2
proceedings, creditors' bills. You have situations where
3
interests are involved. You must go to court possibly
4
to get a piece of land sold because there are different
5
interests involved. There are any number of things,
6
lunacy proceedings, variety proceedings and that sort of
7
thing coming under equity proceedings . As I interpret
8
this, any one of these cases on proper -motion can be
9
removed to another court, and when land is involved, to
10
send the records to another court to be tried to me is
11
just in the realm of fantastic, I just can't see how any
12
lawyer would want to agree to this.

THE CHAIRMAN: . Any other delegate desire to
14
speak in favor?
15
Delegate Clagett.

DELEGATE CLAGETT: Mr. Chairman, I would
17
like to make an amendment to this amendment, and it would
13
be a very simple one and not require writing, simply to
19
strike on line 8 the words "all cases" and on line 9 "in
20
equity" and on line 16 the words which we had added by
21
agreement "and domestic relations".
