There being no quorum present,
The yeas and nays were called, and appeared as follows: Messrs. Gale, Robinette, Abbott, Hebb, Schley, Billingsley, Mayhugh, Smith, of Carroll, Cunningham, McComas, Stirling, Cushing, Miller, Stockbridge, Daniel, Parker, Swope, Earle, Pugh, Wooden—22. Ecker, Purnell, So the Convention refused to adjourn.
On motion of Mr. Sands, TUESDAY, August 23d, 1864. The Convention met at 10 o'clock, A. M. Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Owen. All the members present except the following:
