Ordered that a Committee of three be appointed by the Mr. Stirling submitted the following amendment:
Strike out all after the word "that, " in the first line, and
"The Governor be and he is hereby requested to furnish
Mr. Abbott called the previous question,
"Shall the main question be now put?"
The question then being on the adoption of the amend- It was decided in the negative.
