Mr. Ware, presented a memorial of the officers of the First Light
Division of Maryland volunteers, in relation to the organization
of the Militia of the State;
Which was read, and
Refered to the committee on the Militia.
On motion of Mr. Waters, it was
Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Davis has
been called home by the indisposition of a member of his family.
On motion of Mr. McLane,
The Convention resumed the consideration of the report submit-
ted by him on the 1st of February, as chairman of the committee
on the Treasury Department.
