The Convention met.
And resumed the consideration of the report of the committee
on the Judiciary.
The question pending, being on an amendment offered by Mr.
Bowie, on the 6th inst. to the substitute offered by Mr. Stewart,
of Balt, city, for the 12th section of the report, and to be found on
page 730 of Journal.
On motion of Mr. Gwinn,
The Convention was called, and the Doorkeeper sent for the
absent members.
On motion of Mr. Brent, of Balt. city,
Further proceedings under the call of the Convention was dis-
pensed with.
Mr. Davis, moved to postpone the consideration of the report of
the committee on the Judiciary until to-morrow.
Determined in the negative.
The question then recurred on the adoption of the amend
ment as offered by Mr Bowie, to the substitute offered by Mr.
Stewart, of Balt. city, for the 12th section of the report.
