The question again recurred on the adoption of the substitute as
amended;
Mr. Grason moved to amend said substitute by striking out the
whole of that part offered by Mr. Michael Newcomer, and insert
the following
"There shall be an Orphans' Court in every county of the State
and in the city of Baltimore, which shall perform the duties of the
present orphans' cou rts and such other duties as may he prescribed by
Ltw, and shall consist of one member, to be elected by the people at
the same time, in the same manner, and for the same term, and to
have the some age, residence and citizenship as the delegates to
the Genetal Assembly.''
