between points authorized by this Act, and when the consent
of the owners of such ground or property cannot be obtained,
they may obtain the same by condemnation, in the same
manner as is provided in Section one hundred and sixty-
seven of Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That it shall be lawful for said
company to issue its bonds or obligations in sums of not less
than five hundred dollars each, and payable with interest,
at such time or times as the president and directors of said
company may appoint, and to sell and dispose of the same,
and to provide for the security and payment of the same by
mortgage, or otherwise, and also that it shall and may be
lawful for the said company to issue certificates of stock,
and to apply the sanie, if they shall find it expedient to do
so, in payment of the expenses of the constructions and
equipment of said road, or other liabilities of said company.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly of
Maryland hereby reserves the right to repeal, change, alter
or amend this Act at its pleasure.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 90.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 43, 44 and 45 of Article 18 of
the Public Local Laws, entitled "Queen Anne's County,"
sub-title "Centreville," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 43, 44 and 45 of Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, entitled "Queen Anne's County,"
sub-title "Centreville," be and the same are hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:

sioners.

43. Male inhabitants of Centreville above the age of twenty -
one years and assessed with one hundred dollars worth of
real or personal property on the tax books of said town, and
who have also resided in said town for six months next pre-
