CHAPTER 605.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 93 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Testamentary Law," sub-title
"Sales," to be designated as Section 275A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following additional section be added to the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary Law,"
sub-title "Sales," to follow Section two hundred and seventy-
five, and to be known as Section 275 A of said Article.

275A. The court shall also have the power to direct a sale
of any part of the personal estate of a decedent, on application
of an administrator or executor, whenever it shall appear
thereby, or upon such further proof as the court may require,
that a sale is advantageous to the persons interested in said
estate.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 606.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Washington County to refund to Abraham Corbett, of
said county, a certain sum of money for taxes erroneously
paid to said County Commissioners by him.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the said County Commissioners of Washington
County be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to refund and pay over to Abraham Corbett, of said
county, the sum of three hundred and thirty dollars and
seventy cents, being money which the said Abraham Corbett
paid to the said County Commissioners of Washington County
for county taxes on property erroneously assessed to him by
the said County Commissioners for the years eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-eight, eighteen hundred and seventy-nine,
eighteen hundred and eighty, eighteen hundred and eighty-
one, eighteen hundred and eighty-two, eighteen hundred and
eighty-three, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, eighteen
hundred and eighty -five, eighteen hundred and eighty -six,
eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, eighteen hundred and
eighty-eight, eighteen hundred1 and eighty -nine, eighteen
