SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
reserves the right to repeal, alter or amend this Act.

SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 489.
AN ACT to extend the privileges, enlarge the powers and
amend the charter of the "Westminster Water Company,"
of Westminster, Maryland, a corporation duly incorporated
under the General Laws of this State.

WHEREAS, The "Westminster Water Company," of West-
minster, Maryland, was duly incorporated under the provisions
of the General Laws uf this State, relating to the creation and
regulation of incorporated companies in the State of Mary-
land, with a capital stock of twenty-five thousand dollars,
divided into twenty-five hundred shares of the par value of
ten dollars each, and is desirous of extending the privileges
and enlarging the powers of said corporation; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the "Westminster Water Company," 'of Westmin-
ster, Maryland, in addition to the powers possessed by it
under its certificate of incorporation and under the General
Laws of this State, shall have and possess the further powers,
rights and privileges particularly mentioned in this Act, and
its charter, as set forth in said certificate, shall be altered and
amended so as to conform to the terms and provisions of this
Act.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said corporation shall
have perpetual succession and a corporate seal and may adopt
a constitution for its government.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the capital stock of said
corporation shall consist of six thousand shares of the par
value of ten dollars each, being sixty thousand dollars; the
additional stock hereby authorized is for the purpose of pay-
ing the bonds and extending the plant of said company.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
