drawn shall, with said numbers, be duly recorded by said
judge or judges, or by the clerk, in their presence and under
their direction, in the order in which they shall be drawn;
and thereupon the said judge or judges shall forthwith order
a venire faciasas, provided in said Article 51 of the Code of
Public General Laws; and after the said forty-eight balls
have been so drawn, and the numbers thereon and the names
corresponding thereto shall have been recorded, as herein
provided, the judge or judges shall place the said forty -eight
balls in the compartment of said box other than the one from
which they were drawn, together with the certified list of two
hundred names, and shall cause the said box to be closed and
locked and kept and only opened as provided for in Article 31
of the Code of Public General Laws; provided, however, that
if for any of the reasons mentioned in Article 51 of the Code

of Public General Laws it shall become necessary to draw
talesmen, or to fill vacancies, the judge or judges shall draw
from said box as many balls as may be necessary therefor, in
the same manner as the original forty -eight were drawn.
178C. No person shall be drawn and summoned again as a
juror in Allegany County until the expiration of two years
from the term of court at which he last served.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts, or parts of Acts,
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 452.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
two, Article 87, of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title "Sheriff," sub-title, "Oath of Office and
Bonds," as the same was repealed and re-enacted by Chap-
ter six hundred and forty -seven of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
eighteen hundred and ninety-four.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section two of Article 87 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Sheriff," sub-title "Oath
of Office and Bonds," as the same was repealed and re-enacted
by Chapter six hundred and forty-seven of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to
read as follows:
