CHAPTER 417.
AN ACT to refund to Henry B. Cooper and Francis A.
Cooper, executors of Edward H. Cooper, of Baltimore
City, a certain amount of collateral inheritance tax paid in
error to the Register of Wills of Baltimore City, and by
him paid to the State of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
hereby requested and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer to pay to Henry B. Cooper and Francis A. Cooper,
executors of Edward H. Cooper, deceased, the sum of thir-
teen dollars and twelve cents, being the amount overpaid by
the said executors as collateral inheritance tax on the estate
of said Edward H. Cooper, deceased, to the Register of
Wills of Baltimore City, and by the said Register of Wills
paid to the State of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 7, 1900.

CHAPTER 419.
AN ACT to repeal Section one hundred and thirty-six of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Gunning," as
repealed and re-enacted by Chapter six hundred and fifty-
five of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety-two, and
re-enact the same, with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section one hundred and thirty-six of Article 27,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and
Punishments," sub-title "Gunning,'' as repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter six hundred and fifty-five of the Acts of
eighteen hundred and ninety-two, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows:

Sec. 136. Every person who shall, upon any pretence what-
ever, come to hunt with gun or dog upon the lands of another,
without leave or license from the owner or possessors 'thereof
first had and obtained, shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and on conviction thereof before some justice of
the peace in the county where the offense is committed be
