amended by the Act of eighteen hundred and ninety-two,
Chapter 465, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:

227. The Judges of the Orphans' Court of the several
counties shall each receive the sum of four dollars for every
day's attendance upon the sessions of said court, to be paid
at least as often as at the end of each and every quarter after
the qualification of said judges by the counties, provided
that St. Mary's County be exempted from the provisions of
this Act. The Judges of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore
City shall receive nine dollars for every day's attendance
upon the session of said Orphans' Court of Baltimore City,
to be paid by the City of Baltimore at the end of each and
every month, and the sessions of said Orphans' Court of Bal-
timore City shall continue from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M., if neces-
sary, for the transaction of the business of the court, and pro-
vided that all provisions of any Public General Law or Public
Local Law inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.

CHAPTER 69.

AN ACT to repeal Sections one hundred and nineteen and
one hundred and twenty of Article 8, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Cecil County," sub-title
"County Treasurer," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections one hundred and nineteen and one hun-
dred and twenty of Article 8, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Cecil County," sub-title "County Treasurer,"
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, so as to read as follows:

Repeal.
Cecil county.
Treasurer.

119. The legal and qualified voters of Cecil County shall,
at the general State election, to be held in the year 1901, and
every two years thereafter, elect some person, a resident of
said county, to be Treasurer of Cecil County, whose duty it
shall be to collect and disburse, upon the lawful orders of the
County Commissioners of Cecil County, all taxes levied in
Cecil County and who shall assess all new or missed property
in said county, and for this purpose he is clothed with all the
powers possessed by collectors of taxes under the provisions
