said company any line or lines of telephone already erected and
constructed, the poles, wires, insulators and batteries belonging
to same, at such price as may be agreed upon between the
said commissioners, or a majority of them, or by the direct-
ors of said company, or a majority of them, and the party or
parties owning the said lines, poles, wires, insulators and

batteries.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the Legislature reserves to
itself the right to change, alter or amend this Act of incorpo-
ration at pleasure.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 380.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 10A, 42, and to repeal and
re-enact with amendments Sections 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14,
15, 19, 22, 34, 36, 40, 45, 57, 58, 59, 60, 62, 63, 66 and 67
of Article 72 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Oysters," and to add a new section thereto, to be known
as 46 A, and to follow Section forty-six.

Amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections loA, 42, of Article 72 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Oysters," be and the same are
hereby repealed, and that Sections i, 2, 3, 8, 9, n, 12, 14,
15, 19, 22, 34, 36, 40, 45, 57, 58, 59, 60, 62, 63, 66 and 67 of
said Article be and the same are hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, with addition of a new section, to
be designated as 46 A, so as to read as follows:

To catch
oysters with
rakes or tongs.

1. Any resident of this State desiring to catch oysters with
rakes or tongs for sale in any of the waters of this State shall
first obtain by application. to the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of the county wherein he may reside a separate license for
every person to be employed on such boat, and such license
shall have effect from the first day of September in the year
which it may have been obtained to the twenty-fifth day of
April, inclusive, next succeeding; provided, that such license
shall not authorize the taking or catching of oysters in any
creek, cove, river, inlet, bay or sound within the limit of any
county other than that wherein the license shall have been
granted; and that the boundaries of the counties or navi-
