paid quarterly by the County Commissioners, upon the cer-
tificates of the Register of Wills, three dollars per day for
each day he shall be in attendance upon said court.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 350.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter sixty-eight of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion in the year eighteen hundred and nine-six, entitled an
"Act to repeal Chapter seventy -four of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session
in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-two," entitled an
"Act to add an additional section to Article n of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Frederick County,'
sub-title 'Justices of the Peace and Constables,' to be known
as Section 289 A, creating a Police Justice of the Peace for
Election District Number two, in Frederick County, and to
re-enact the same with amendments, and to re-enact' said
Section 289A, as adopted by said Act of eighteen hundred
and ninety-two, Chapter seventy-four, with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter sixty-eight of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session in the
year eighteen hundred and ninety-six, entitled an "Act to

Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session in
the year eighteen hundred and ninety-two, entitled an "Act
to add an additional section to Article 1 1 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Frederick County,' sub-title
'Justices of the Peace and Constables,' to be known as Section
289 A, creating a Police Justice of the Peace for Election Dis-
trict Number two in Frederick County, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

289A. Three justices of the peace for election district No.
two, provided for in the preceding section, shall each be paid by
the County Commissioners of said county in equal quarterly
instalments the sum of two hundred dollars per annum, and
shall receive no other or further fees for any services rendered
by them in criminal cases or arrests for violations of any of
