the discretion of said president and directors, be forfeited to
the corporation; provided, nevertheless, that some thing herein
contained shall be construed to prevent said corporation from
suing for and recovering such unpaid instalments in like
manner as other debts and claims are recoverable.

SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 343.

AN ACT to protect the sport of Fox-hunting in Montgomery
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That if any one shall knowingly shoot a fox in Mont-
gomery County whilst the same is being chased by hounds
under the charge of foxhunters shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon conviction thereof before a justice of the
peace shall be fined not less than five, nor more than twenty
dollars, and be imprisoned in the jail of said county until the
fine and cost be fully paid; said fine to be paid over to the
County Commissioners, one-half for the benefit of the public
schools, and the other half for the informer.

CHAPTER 344.

AN ACT to amend Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title ''Frederick County," by inserting
after Section one hundred and thirty-nine under a new sub_
title to be designated "Fees of Officers," certain additional
sections, to be known as 139A, 139B, regulating certain
fees to be paid to the Sheriff of Frederick County, and to
the county constables of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Frederick County," be and the same is
hereby amended by inserting after Section one hundred and
thirty -nine under a new sub-title to be designated "Fees of
Officers," certain additional sections, to be known as 139A,
139 B, which shall read as follows:
