SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That if shall not be lawful for the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Garrett County, Maryland, to issue license to any
person or persons to sell spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer at any place in Garrett County, within three miles
of Kitzmillersville, Garrett County, Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 10, 1900.

CHAPTER 330.
AN ACT to repeal Section one hundred and seventy-three of
Chapter twenty-five of the Act of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the January Session eighteen hundred
and ninety-eight, known as the amended charter of the
Town of Oakland, and to re-enact the same so as to read as
follows:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section one hundred and seventy three of Chapter
twenty-five of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at the January Session, eighteen hundred and
ninety-eight, and known as the amended charter of the Town
of Oakland, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:

Oakland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That no person shall be eligible
as a member of the town council unless he shall have resided
two years next preceding his election in the Town of Oak-
land, and shall also be twenty-five years of age.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 10, 1900.

AN ACT to incorporate the State Trust and Deposit Com-
pany, of Baltimore City, Maryland...

land, That John R. Rowzer, James K. Waters, John S.
Ramsburg, Joseph D. Baker and Charles E. Cassell and their
associates, successors and assigns, and all other persons who
