slaughter, robbery or burglary, not to exceed fifty dollars;
where the offense so charged is any other common law
or statutory felony, assault with intent to murder, ravish
or rob, forgery, perjury or bribery, not to exceed twenty-
five dollars; when any other offense is charged in the
indictment, not to exceed ten dollars; provided, that no
fee shall be paid where the accused pleads guilty, nor
where there has not been an actual trial, and, provided
further, that this section shall not be taken to change or
repeal the appearance fees allowed by the general law.
SEC. 2. And be it hereby further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claim of
William J. C. Dulany Company for stationery furnished
the General Assembly of Maryland of eighteen hundred
and ninety-eight; the Executive Department, Court of Ap-
peals and State Library for eighteen hundred and ninety,
eight; the Executive Department, Court of Appeals and
State Library for eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, and
the General Assembly of nineteen hundred.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the State be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to draw his warrant on the Treasurer
of the State for the sum of four thousand eight hundred and
thirty-six and six one-hundredth dollars ($4,836.06) for
stationery furnished the General Assembly of Maryland of
eighteen hundred and ninety -eight; the Executive Depart-
ment, Court of Appeals and State Library for eighteen hun-
dred and ninety-eight; the Executive Department, Court of
Appeals and State Library for eighteen hundred and ninety-
nine, and the General Assembly of Maryland of nineteen
hundred.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
