Licenses
transferable.

fermented liquors, wines, cordials, soda and mineral waters
to all other persons and at all other times by the drink or in
quantities not to exceed five gallons at any one sale, but not
otherwise; and all licenses iss-ued under the provisions of this
Act shall be transferable, with the assent of the Chesapeake
Beach Hotel Company, as traders' licenses now are under the
general laws of this State. The licensee or transferee of any
such license shall be held personally responsible for any
violation of the provisions of this Act concerning the sale,
barter or giving away of such liquors, wines, cordials or beers,
whether such violation result from any act of commission or
omission either by or of himself or any one in his employ or
under his control.

Fee in all
streets, etc.

38. And belt enacted, That the fee in all the streets, alleys,
lanes, parks and public grounds in the town of Chesapeake
Beach, or such portion thereof as at the date of the passage of
this Act may be the property of the Chesapeake Beach Railway
Company, shall be and remain in said company; subject, how-
ever, at all times, for municipal and police purposes, to the
control of the Commissioners of Chesapeake Beach, who may
establish, maintain, alter and repair the same, and make such
improvements thereof and thereon as may from time to time
become necessary and as herein provided.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 121.
AN ACT to provide for the selecting, drawing and summon-
ing of Jurors for Howard County,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That in Howard County there shall be procured by the
Clerk of the Circuit Court a jury box of convenient size which
shall be divided into as many compartments as there may from
time to time be election districts in said county, and which
compartments shall be numbered to correspond with the dis-
tricts of the county, and the name of the persons selected by
the judges of the Circuit Court for said county, or either of
them, in the manner prescribed in Article 51 of the Code of
