recording such sale shall be paid by the town of Takoma
Park, and become a lien upon the property, to be recovered
from the owner in case of redemption, or from the purchaser
before a deed is delivered. When a piece of property has
been redeemed the treasurer shall likewise notify the Clerk
of the Circuit Court.

CHAPTER 118.
AN ACT to change the name of the Maryland Title, Insur-
ance and Trust Company, and to authorize an increase in
the number of its Directors.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of the Maryland Title, Insurance and
Trust Company (a corporation created by Chapter four hun-
dred and twenty -five of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the session of eighteen hundred and
eighty-four, which Act was amended by Chapter six hundred
and sixty-three of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety-
four), be and hereby is changed to Title, Guarantee and Trust
Company.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the stockholders of said
corporation be and hereby are authorized to increase the
number of directors from eleven to such number, not exceed-
ing twenty-five, as may be determined upon by such stock-
holders.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 119.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and Council
of Hagerstown to borrow the sum of five thousand dollars
for drainage purposes.

SECTION 1. Re it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown be author-
ized and empowered to borrow a sum of money not exceeding
five thousand dollars on the faith and credit of the town, as
hereinafter provided, which shall be known and designated
as "Series Three of Drainage Bonds," and the money arising
from their sale shall be applied and used exclusively for the
purpose of constructing drains.
