Company of Baltimore, a body corporate, existing by virtue of the

Act of the General Assembly of Maryland of eighteen hundred

and twenty-five, Chapter fifty-five, and the Acts supplementary

thereto or amendatory thereof, by providing for the reduction in

the number of directors of said company fixed by the Act of

eighteen hundred and ninety-two, Chapter one hundred and forty-

three, Section five, Sub-section thirteen; and also to ratify and

approve the increase heretofore made by the stockholders of the

company in the number and par value of the shares of capital

stock of said corporation, in pursuance of Section four, Sub-sec-

tion two, of said last mentioned Act...............................................

Section one of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety-eight,

Chapter three hundred and twenty-three, entitled an "Act to

appropriate certain sums of money in support of sundry schools

and charitable institutions in the State of Maryland for each of the

two fiscal years ending on the 30th day of September, 1899, and

on the 30th day of September, 1900, respectively, and to appro-

priate for the Hospital for the Women of Maryland the sum of two

thousand dollars, which under said Act as signed by the Gover-

nor, said hospital failed to receive in consequence of said clerical
