persons, or body politic or corporate, entitled to receive the
same.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and after the first day of October, nineteen hundred.

CHAPTER 746.
AN ACT to prohibit the laying of railway tracks upon Lom-
bard street, between Patterson Park avenue and Exeter
street, in the City of Baltimore, without the consent of the
General Assembly.

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for any person or corporation to
lay any railway tracks upon Lombard street, between Patter-
son Park avenue and Exeter street, in the City of Baltimore,
without the consent of the General Assembly of Maryland;
provided, that this Act shall not restrict in anyway the right
of any passenger railway company now incorporated, or that
may hereafter be incorporated, to cross said Lombard street
when such railway company shall be authorized by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to use any street or avenue
opening into said Lombard street, and provided further, that
nothing herein contained shall be construed to impair or limit in
any manner the powers and rights of the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to regulate the use in all respects of said
street under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of eighteen
hundred and ninety-eight, Chapter one hundred and twenty-
three, known as the Charter of Baltimore City.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Dorchester Electric Light and
Power Company.

land, That James Wallace, George W. Woolford, William F.
Applegarth, John G. Mills, Phillips L. Goldsborough, Daniel
H. LeCompte and James A. Jordon, all residents of the State
