the first day of February and the fourth day of July in each
and every year; nor any wild ducks between the first day of
April and the twentieth day of September in each and every
year; nor any sore or water rail between the first day of Jan-
uary and the twentieth day of September in each and every
year; nor any muskrats between the fifteenth day of March
and the first day of December in each and every year; nor
to go upon any tidewater marshes to shoot blackbirds or any
other birds between the first day of January and the twentieth
day of September in each and every year.

Penalty for
violation.

28. Any person violating any of the provisions of the pre-
ceding section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
on conviction thereof before any justice of the peace for said
county shall pay a fine of five dollars for each and every
offense, one-half of said fine to be paid to the informer and
the remainder, as directed in Section thirty-three, and on
failure to pay said fine shall be lodged in the County Jail for
ten days; and in any prosecution for said offense the posses-
sion of any partridge (or quail), rabbit (or hare), woodcock,
wild duck, sore or water rail, squirrel or muskrat shall be
prima facie evidence of the guilt of the accused.

CHAPTER 714.
AN ACT to give sanction of the legislation to the gifts,
devises and bequest to divers charitably and religious insti-
tutions named in the last will and testament of Louis Dode,
late of Baltimore City, deceased, subject to the conditions
and limitations and for the purposes in said will mentioned,
and to prevent any failure of the testamentary purposes of
the said Louis Dode by reason of uncertainty or misdescrip-
tion of any of said beneficiaries.

bequests of
Louis Dode,
deceased.

WHEREAS, Louis Dode, late of Baltimore City, deceased,
by his last will and testament, duly probated and now of
record in the office of the Register of Wills of Baltimore City,
did give and bequeath unto the Little Sisters of the Poor the
sum of one thousand dollars; unto the Oblate Sisters of Provi-
dence of Baltimore the sum of one thousand dollars, and unto
the Protectors of Saint Mary's Orphaline Female School of
the City of Baltimore the sum of five hundred dollars; and
by the residuary clause of said will did give, devise and be-
