the Mayor and City Council of Laurel to borrow money
an the credit of said town for the purpose of construct-
ing waterworks for said town, do necessary drainage and
purchase, construct or erect an electric lighting and
power plant, to issue bonds for the payment of the same
and to levy taxes on the assessable property of said town
redeem the said bonds andpay the interest theron."

sub-title 'Delmar.' to follow section 38, and to be desig-
riated as 'A' and 'B' and chapter 449, of the Acts of the
Genetal Assembly of Maryland, of 1894, entitled 'An Act
to and re-enact with amendments, sections 33, and
34, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Wicomico
County, sub-title 'Delmar,' and chapter 181, of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, of 1896; entitled
'An Act to repeal sections 33, 34, of Article 23, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Wicomico
County,' sub-title ‘Delmar,' as amended by chapter 339
of the Acts of Assembly of 1894, and to re-enact the
same with amendments."
