Endorsed: "Amended, read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays." AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Strike out the whole of section 16 and substitute in its place the following: "Section 16. And be it further enacted, That the stock- holders of the Annapolis Banking and Trust Company, shall be liable to the amount of their respective shares or share of stock in said company for all its debts and liabilities upon note, bill or otherwise. "Sec. 17. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date of its passage." On motion of Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, The Senate concurred in the proposed amendment, and The bill, as amended, was then passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
