At the end of section 10, add the following: "Provided, that said corporation shall be subject at all times to the provisions of the Acts of 1892, chapter 109 and 279 or amendments or supplements thereto." Also, At the end of section 1, after the word "Baltimore” strike out the words "and elsewhere." Which proposed amendments were adopted, and The said bill was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Also favorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to change the name and to amend the charter of the Smith, Rouse and Webster Co., of Harford county." Which was read the second time ani ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Also favorably, with proposed amendment, Senate bill No. 233, entitled "An Act to add an addi- tional section to chapter 52 of the Acts of 1896, entitled ‘An Act to incorporate the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company." AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Add an additional section after section 2, to be known as ‘Section 2 A,' so as to read as follows: "Section 2 A. That said company in addition to the powers heretofore and herein granted, it shall be and is hereby authorized and empowered to exercise and per- form all of the rights and powers which it now is and may hereafter he empowered to exercise in the several States, counties and municipalities of the United States, in any province, territory or colony of said United States, |
