Senate bill No. 240, entitled "An Act to add an ad- ditional section to Article 23, of the Code of Public Gen- eral Laws, title ‘Corporations,' sub-title ‘General Regula- tions,' to follow immediately after section 85 L, and to be designated as ‘Section 85 M,' to permit life and acci- dent insurance companies and safe deposit, trust, guar- anty, loan and fidelity companies, now or hereafter doing business in this State, to deposit with the Treasurer of this State, as the security required by law, first mort- gage bonds of electric railway companies operating within this State, when said bonds have been respectively approved by the Board of Public Works." Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
