grossed for a third reading.
The President distributed the following message from
the House of Delegates:

House bill entitled "An Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 9, of the Code of Public Laws, title
‘Charles County;' under new sub-title ‘Duties of County
School Commissioners."
Endorsed: "Read the £hird time and passed by yeas
and nays."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Education.

Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to empower the County
Commissioners of Prince George's county to levy a sum
of money for the building of a school house for colored
children in the 13th Election District, near Lanham's
Station, in PrinceGeorge's county, Md."
Endorsed: "Read thethird time and passed by yeas-
and nays."
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee onEducation.
Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to provide for fixing license
and penalties for hucksters, hawkers, peddlers, dealers,
brokers or middlemen of unbaled hay, unbaled straw and
ear corn by the wagon load in Baltimore city."
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays."
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance. -
Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct the
Comptroller of the State Treasury, and the Comptroller
of Baltimore city, respectively, to refund to August C.
Schmidt money erroneously paid into the treasuries, re-
spectively, of said State and municipality for licenses."
