54 B. From and after 120 days after the passage and
taking effect of this Act, it shall be unlawful for any per-
son or persons, firm or corporation or association of per-
sons, to have on hand, exposed for sale, or to offer for
sale or to sell in the same store, building cr premises or
in connected stores, buildings or premises, nader a unit
of management or superintendency, or otherwise, at re-
tail, any articles, goods, wares or merchandise set forth
and described in section 1 hereof, of more than one of
the several classification or groups therein described,
without first having obtained a license therefor as here-
inafter provided.
54 C. Within 120 days after the passage and taking
effect of this Act, the officers charged with the duty of
issuing traders' licenses in the cities of this State to
which this Act is made applicable, as hereinbefore pro.
vided, shall be and are hereby authorized and empowered
to receive applications for and to grant licenses to keep
and sell in the same store, building or premises, or in
connected stores, buildings or premises, articles, goods,
wares and merchandise, other than those mentioned and
described in section 1 of this Act.

54 D. The application of such license shall state the
class or group, as herein above set forth, under which
the applicant conducts or desires to conduct his princi-
pal business, it shall also state what additional class or
gro up, or what additional article or articles in any class or
gro up, he desires to keep and sell, and also the place by
