St. Mary's or Calvert counties desiring to take or catch
oysters with tongs may apply to the Clerk of the county
of which he is a resident for a license to take oysters in
Chesapeake bay or Potomac river during the time
allowed by the general oyster law, and such license shall
be good for the entire oyster season.
