588 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 8 Putzel, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of Anne Arundel —16. The Senate considered unfinished business, bing REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES. Mr. Moore, from Committee on Corporations, reported favorably, with proposed amendment, Senate bill No. 199, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Maryland Automobile and Manufacturing Company." AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Strike out section 9 of the bill and make section 10 section 9. Which proposed amendment was adopted. On motion of Mr. Putzel, Said bill was made the Special Order of tire Day for Monday, March 12th, at 8.30 P. M. Also, favorably, Senate bill No. 187, entitled "An Act to amend the charter and enlarge the powers of the Fidelity Fire In- surance Company of Baltimore city, a corporation formed under the General Incorporation Law of this State." Which was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Betts, from Committee on Agriculture, reported favorably, Senate bill No. 105, entitled "An Act to repeal section 2, of Article 86, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Sheep and Dogs,' and re-enact the same with amend- men t s." AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. By Mr. Brewington, Strike out "Wicomico and Cecil counties” from the bill. Which proposed amendment was adopted. FURTHER AMENDMENT PROPOSED. By Mr. Wilkinson, In list of counties exempt add "St. Mary's, Mont- gomery, Somerset, Carroll and Charles counties." |
