A bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter and en-
large the powers of the Fidelity Fire Insurance Company
of Baltimore city a corporation formed under the Gen-
eral Incorporation La v of this State."
Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.


ORDER OF THE DAY.
The hour of 8.30 P. M. having arrived,
The Senate considered the Order of the Day, being
Senate bill No. 117, entitled "An Act to repeal section
2, of chapter 310, of the Acts of Assembly of Maryland
of 1892, entitled ‘An Act prescribing the regulations and
conditions upon which the Board of Public Works shall
sell the State's interest in all works of improvements,' as
said section 2 was amended by chapter 172 of the Acts
of 1896."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.


BILLS—THIRD READING.
Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the county
commissioners of Anne Arundel county to subscribe to
the capital stock of the Baltimore and Southern Rail-
road Company."
Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follows:
