Also, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 4, of chapter 24, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary. land, passed at the session of 1898, providing for the pay- ments of the floating debt of the town of Oakland, the improvement of the streets of said town and the pur- chasing and operating of an electric light plant therein and to re-enact the same with amendments." Also, House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the estab- lishment of an Electric Light Plant, in Hagerstown, Maryland." Endorsed; "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays." Also, House bill entitled "An Act to autijorize the qualified voters of Pocomoke city, Worcester county, to decide by ballot whether or not coupon bonds not exceeding the amount of eight thousand dollars, shall be issued by said city for the purpose of providing a proper electric light plant for said city."
