Mr. Kirwan, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to fix, limit and determine
the term of office of the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's county that shall be hereafter elected or appoint-
e4 perpetuating the succession to same, and repealing all
laws or parts of laws so far as they are inconsistent with
the provisions of this Act."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Bouic, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
with proposed amendments,
House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Mont-
gomery County,' sub-title ‘Roads,' to follow section 176,
and to be designated as ‘Section 176 A.'"
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend section 1, at the end thereof, after the word
"side," by adding:
"Provided the provisions of this Act shall not apply to
Tacoma Park."

Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Cecil
County,' under the new sub-title "Bills of Exchange and
Promissory Notes,' to be designated as ‘Section 37 A,'
and to follow section 37."

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of
County Commissioners of Cecil county to erect and main-
tain boards so painted and marked with letters and fig-
