Se-nate bill No. 69, entitled "An Act to alter and amend
the charter, change the name and grant other additional
power to the stockholders of the Anne Arundel County
Academy, a corporation incorporated by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, by the Act of 1856, chapter 238."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne
Arundel county, sub-title ‘Annapolis City,' to be num-
bered ‘Section 86,' relating to the encouragement of man-
ufactures in said .city."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."

Also,

Senate bill No. 72, entitled "An Act to enlarge and con-
firm the powers and authority of Mt. St. Joseph's College,
of Baltimore county, incorporated under time general pro-
visions of the 26th Article of the Code by the Circuit
Court for Baltimore county under the corporate name of
St. Joseph's College of Baltimore county, and which is
on. record in the clerk's office of said Court, of date
October 6th, 1876, and recorded in Liber J. B., No. 1,
folio 130, etc., one of the incorporation records of Balti-
more county, and also an amended incorporation under
the general provision of the 26th Article of the Code by
said Court, by which amendment said corporate name
was changed to Mt. St. Joseph's College, of Baltimore
county, and which is also on rec-ord in the clerk's office of
said Court, of date June 9, 1881, and recorded in Liher
J. B., No. 1, folio 297, etc., one of the incorporation re-
cords of Baltimore county."

Endorsed: "Amended, read the third time, and passed
by yeas and. nays."
