House bill entitled "An Act to refund to Henry B.
Cooper and Francis A. Cooper, executors of Edward H.
Cooper, of Baltimore city, a certain amount of collateral
inheritance tax paid in error to the Register of Wills of
Baltimore city, and by him paid to the State of Mary-
land."
Endorsed "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

FOURTH ORDER OF THE DAY.
The hour of 1 P. M., having arrived,
The Senate considered the Fourth Order of the Day,
being
Senate bill No. 22, entitled "An Act to provide for the
publication by the State Board of Public Works of large
scale geographical and physical maps of Maryland for
use in the public schools of the State, and to make an ap-
propriation therefor."
On motion df Mr. Crothers,
Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Finance.

The Secretary of State appeared and delivered a
message from the Executive.


BILLS—THIRD READING.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland, to the
several deeds made by Samuel Appold and wife, Gabriel
D. Clark and wife, and William Kamm ever, to the trus-
tees of St. Mark's English Evangelical Lutheran Church
of Baltimore, a corporation duly incorporated nuder the
laws of the State of Maryland, and also to the acquisition
hereafter hy the said grantee of the fee-simple title to
any lot of ground mentioned in said deeds in which it
has thereby acquired less than a fee-simple, and to the
selling, mortgaging, leasing or other disposition thereof."

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays
