school tax withheld from said county in the year 1899,
and also to authorize and direct the Comptroller to appor-
tion to said county the instalment known as the ‘March
Instalment” of the State school tax for the year 1900,"
said instalment, being the apportionment made to said
Garrett county on the 15th day of March in each year.
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

House bill entitled "An Act to empower the United
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore city, a body cor-
porate, formed under the General Incorporation Laws of
the State of Maryland, to enlarge the number of its
ditectors, to increase the capital stock, and to issue per-
petual policies of insurance."

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 6, of Article 52, of the Public Gen-
eral Laws, title ‘Justices of the Peace.'

House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title Cecil
County,' under the new sub-title ‘Bills of Exchange and
Promissory Notes,' to be designated as ‘Section 37 A,'
and to follow section 37."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Crothers, Baker and Williams, of Anne Arundel.
