FURTHER AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 18, of section 1, after the word "Frederick” in-
sert the word "Dorchester."
The Senate concurred in the proposed amendment.

FURTHER AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

At the end of section 1, after the word "vacated," insert
the following:

"The Governor shall, within thirty days after the next
meeting of thc General Assembly, submit the names of
all persons appointed to fill vacancies during the recess
of the General Assembly to the Senate for confirmation."
The Senate concurred in the proposed amendment
by yeas and nays as follows:

After the word "Boards," line 22, insert as follows:
"Provided, however, that the present members of the
several Boards of School Commissioners shall hold their
offices until their successors are duly appointed and
qualified."
In which proposedamendment the Senate concurred.
And said bill, as amended, was passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:
