UNFINISHED BUSINESS.
The Senate considered unfinished business, being
Senate bill entitled "An Act to extend the privilege
and amend the charter of the Laurel Building Associa-
tion of Prince George's county, a corporation incorporat-
ed under the General Laws of this State,"
Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
The Senate further considered unfinished business,
Mr. Moore, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 1, 2 and 3, of chapter 215, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the session of 1898, entitled "An Act to amend the
charter of the Security Storage and Trust Company of
Baltimore city, so as to change the name of said corpo-
ration, and to otherwise amend its charter."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Insert after the w)rd "upon” at the end of section 3,
the following: "provided that such corporations shall be
subject at all times to the provisions of the Act of 1892;
chapters 109 and 279, or amendments or supplements
thereto."
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
By Mr. Putzel,
Amend by adding at the end of the proposed amend-
ment, the following; "And to the provisions of all other
general laws applicable to corporations of a similar
character."

On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford,
Said bill, with proposed amendments, was made the
Special Order of the Day for Monday, February 19th, at
8.35 P. M.
