FURTHER AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

By Mr. Williams, of Harford,

Amend section 1, as follows:

Strike out all after the figure "6," in line 4 of printed
bill and insert as follows:

"The Board of County School Commissioners of each
county, shall be composed of three persons appointed by
the Judges of the Circuit Courts of the respective coun-
ties, to serve for two years from the first day of August
next succeeding their appointment, and until their suc-
cessors shall qualify; provided, that in counties having
over one hundred schools, five persons shall be appointed;
any of said commissioners may be removed by the said
Judges for incompetency, neglect of duty, or miscon-
duct."
