The Senate considered the Order of the Day, being
Senate bill No. 70, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 6. of Article 77, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Public Education,'
sub-title ‘Formation of Boards.'
ORDER.
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford, it was
Ordered, That Senate bill, printed, No. 70, he recom-
mitted to the Committee on Education, the Sen ator from
Talbot the only minority representative on said com-
mittee having been detained from the session on account
of illness in his family, said bill only having reached the
Senate in printed form on the night of the 29th inst.
