194 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 1 Senate bill No. 73, entitled "An Act to repeal and re- enact with amendments, section 9 A, of Article 10, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Attorney-at-Law and Attorneys-in-Fact,' as added thereto by the Acts of 1898, chapter 166." Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Messick, Applegarth, Moore, Beasman, Moses, Bouic, Peter, Bryan, Putzel, Dennis, Ravenscroft, Kirwan, Rohrhack, Marsh, Williams, of Har., —16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. On motion of Mr. Bouic, Senate bill No. 25 entitled "An Act to protect the citi- zens of the State of Maryland from unjust discrimination by electric road companies and other public conveyances operating partly in this State and partly in the District of Columbia," Was made the special Order of the Day for Wednes- day, February 7th, at 1 P. M. On motion of Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of the city of Annapolis to issue bonds to the amount of one hundred and twenty-one thousand dollars, to pay off the present floating indebt- edness of the city of Annapolis, and provide a fund for the permanent improvement of said city."
