Mr. Brewington, from the Committee on Education,
reported favorably,
Senate bill No. 70, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 6, of Article 77, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Public Education,'
sub-title ‘Formation of Boards.'"
Pending consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford,
Said bill was made the special Order of the Day for
Thursday, February 1st, at 1 P. M.
Mr. Wilkinson moved to reconsider the motion and
make said bill the special Order of the Day for Tuesday,
February 6th, at 1 P. M.
Mr. Crothers proposed to amend said motion and make
said bill the special Order of the Day for Thursday,
February 1st, at 8.30 P. M.
Which amendment was adopted and the motion as
amended, prevailed.



REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Wilkinson, from Select Committee, reported favor-
bly,
A bill entitled "An Act to provide for copying and
recording the marriage records in clerk's office of St.
Mary's county, from 1794 to 1864."
Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Senate bill No. 21, entitled "An Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 33, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, entitled ‘Elections,' said section
