levy a sum of money to refund to the Gaithersburg
Milling and Manufacturing Company of Montgomery
county certain sums of money erroneously paid by the
said company to said county commissioners for taxes for
the years 1894, 1895 and 1896."

enlarge the powers and amend the charter of the Woods-
boro' Savings Bank of Frederick county, Maryland."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED

Strike out the whole of section 3 and substitute the
following:
"Section 3. And be it further enacted, That the stock-
holders of said company shall be liable to the amount of
their respective share or shares of stock in said company
from all the debts and liabilities upon note or otherwise.
"Section 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage."
