Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Applegarth, from Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries, reported favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sub-section 2, of chapter 224, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, as passed at the January Session of 1896, andL to re-enact the same with amendments, so as to prohibit the catching of crabs with scoops, scrapes, drags, dredges or similar instruments above a certain line in the waters of Fishing Bay, and to provide a penalty therefor, by adding a new section." Which was read the second time. Mr. Applegarth moved that the Rules be suspendect and said bill put upon its third reading and final pass- age. The Rules were suspended (two-thirds of the Senators voting in the affirmative), by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President.
