Assembly of Maryland, session 1898, to repeal section
756 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
Baltimore City,' sub-title ‘Police,' and to re-enact the
same with amendments."
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays”

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add additional sections
to Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘City
of Baltimore,' as repealed and re-enacted by chapter 123
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, session
1898, sub-title ‘Miscellaneous Local Laws,' sub-title ‘Po-
lice Commissioners,' sub-title ‘Special Fund,' to follow
section 776, and to be known as ‘Sections 776 A, 776 B,
776 C, 776 D, 776 E and 776 F.'"

and nays."

Senate bill No. 240, entitled "An Act to add an ad-
ditional section to Article 23, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title ‘Corporations,' sub-title ‘General Regula-
tions,' to follow immediately after section 85 L, and to
be designated as ‘Section 85 M,' to permit life and acci-
dent insurance companies and safe deposit, trust, guar-
anty, loan and fidelity companies, now or hereafter doing
business in this State, to deposit with the Treasurer of
this State, as the security required by law, first mort-
gage bonds of electric railway companies operating
within this State, when said bonds have been respectively
approved by the Board of Public Works."
