UNFINISHED BUSINESS.
The Senate considered unfinished business, being
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Moore, from Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges,
enlarge the powers and amend the charter of the Union
Banking Company of Carroll county, Maryland, so as to
enable it to loan money on or purchase promissory and
negotiable notes, bills obligatory or other evidences of
debt."
Which was read the second time.
Also favorably, with proposed amendments,
House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Fred-
erick Trust and Deposit Company."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend title by striking out the word "Frederick," and
insert the word "Western,"
In line 5 of section 1 strike out the word "Frederick”
and insert the word "Western."
Strike out all of "Section 3” and insert in lieu thereof
the following:
